Review

Aplus DVD Ripper is a software that helps you extract movies from your DVDs and allows you to Convert them to iPod, iPhone, Apple TV , Youtube, Sony PSP, Mobile phone, Zune, Pocket PC, PDA compatible files.

The application supports Ripping DVD by custom file size, and allows you to choose subtitle, Audio track, and configure advanced encoder options for the output format.

It has a nice interface with a video preview and the possibility to Set start and End points to rip a clip from the movie. You can use profiles for the most common portable devices to ease the process.

This ripper is fast (usually 1/3 of the playback time is needed), but it also supports automatic shutdown of the computer for long time conversions.

If you want to backup your movies or just take some clips and play them with your portable device, this is a nice and easy to use option. If you want to test it, a demo version is available for download.

System Requirements:
Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/XP/2003/Vista:
Intel Pentium II 350MHz
64 MB RAM
DVD-ROM
Advantages
  • Nice interface.
  • Profiles for popular outputs.
Disadvantages
  • None.
